our objectives

The aim of our activities is to increase the capacity of individuals living in Estonia to decide on the growth development of themselves, their families and their communities, and to improve their well-being and quality of life, opportunities for self-fulfilment and inclusion in society.

In particular, our work is aimed at empowering members of marginalized and vulnerable groups in society.

Our activities

Our main areas of activity are:

  • organizing and implementing prevention and support activities and events;
  • conducting and publishing studies and analyses;
  • organizing and carrying out consultancy, coaching, counselling and training activities.

We support the coping of individuals and communities and improve their well-being and quality of life through creative and collaborative activities.

our people

Mariann Märtsin, PhD

Member of the Board, Project Manager

Mariann is a cultural and developmental psychologist who has been engaged in international research on family coping and well-being and migration for many years. Today, she works as an Associate Professor in the field of social protection at Tallinn University and as a family therapist she supports families at Sinu Arst clinic. In the NGO Loovalt koos, she is responsible for the sustainability of the activities and the successful implementation of its projects.

Annela Samuel, MA

Member of the Board, Communications Manager

Annela is a photographer who, in addition to several documentary photography projects and exhibitions, has also worked in the field of migration for many years. She has been running various creative children’s camps for refugee children and young people for 5 years, she has been a project manager at the social enterprise Siin ja Sääl and an event coordinator for the Get to Know project. She is currently studying for her PhD at the Tallinn University’s Institute of Social Sciences, and also works 
as a junior researcher at the University. In the NGO Loovalt koos she is responsible for the implementation and communication of various events.
